Kelly D. Brownell, Ph.D.

Professor (Ph.D., 1977, Rutgers University)

Kelly Brownell, Ph.D., known for his work on eating disorders, obesity and body-weight regulation, was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award from Purdue University. Brownell has formerly served as president of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy and APA's Div. 38 (Health).

Brownell is currently a psychology professor and director of graduate studies for the psychology department at Yale University, as well as director of the Yale Center for Eating and Weight Disorders.
