Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.

The Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.

The California State Board of Registered Nurses accepts courses approved by as AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for continuing education requirements for license renewal. Nurses from states other than California should inquire with their local State Board for specific continuing education policies.

Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association approves this continuing professional education for 6.0 ADA CPEU hours.

The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
